Usage
  • Rinse the dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours before cooking. This will help to reduce the cooking time and improve the texture of the dal.
  • After soaking, drain the water and rinse the dal once again.
  • Add the dal to a pressure cooker with 2-3 cups of water, along with any desired spices, and cook for 3-4 whistles on medium flame.
  • Once the pressure has released, open the cooker and check the consistency of the dal. You can add more water or cook it for longer if needed.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati.
