Ingredients
- 1 cup besan (chickpea flour)
- 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Methods
Step 1 Prepare the Batter
Take a large bowl and add besan, haldi, jeera and salt. Add water and mix continuously to the perfect consistency. The consistency should be like pancake batter.
Step 2 Add Vegetables
Add onion, tomato, green chilli and dhania leaves to the batter.
Step 3 Cook the Cheela
Take a non-stick pan and heat it on a medium burner. Apply an oil greasing to prevent the cheela from sticking to the pan. Pour some batter into the pan and spread evenly. Cook it all over with oil.
